Steps to Set Up Roadrunner Mail on iPhone

  1. On your iPhone (or iPad), go to the App’s menu and tap on the Settings app icon. You will be directed to the Settings panel of your iPhone.
  2. On the Settings screen, you will need to tap on the Mail, Contacts, Calendars option. You will be directed to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings panel.
  3. Under Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings panel, tap on the Add Account… (or you can select your existing Road Runner Email Address if you have configured it earlier).
  4. If this is the first time you are setting up your Roadrunner Mail account, you will need to select Other as the option on the subsequent screen.

  • Name:
  • Address: [email protected]
  • Password:
  • Description: Road Runner Mail (Name that appears in your Account list on the iPhone)

  2. After that, you will need to enter the information for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server:
  • Incoming Mail Server Host: pop-server.ec.rr.com

  • If required, you can enter 110 as the value of Port and set Secure Server to Off.
  • Outgoing Mail Server Host: mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com
  • Password: Enter your password
  • If required, you can enter 587 as the value for the Port and set Secure Server to Off (or without SSL).

NOTE: Apple might notify you with a message “Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL”. In such a case, you will need to choose Yes as the option. This may take a couple of minutes to verify settings and may again prompt you with a message “Do you want to try setting up the account with SSL?”. Again, you will need to select the Yes option. The configuration process will get completed.

  1. Once the configuration process gets completed, tap on the Save button.
