How to Set Up Cox Email On iPhone

Having a Cox email account allows you to organize and share your contacts and distribution lists. 3. Once you are in the Password and Account section, you will need to tap on the Add Account You will be directed to the next screen where you will see the list of email services.
4. If you don’t find the Cox email service available on the list, you will need to tap on the “Other” option.
5. Next, You will need to tap on the Add Mail Account
6. On the next screen you will need to provide the following information in the appropriate fields as suggested below:

• Name
• Cox email Address
• Password
• Description

7. Once you have entered all the required information in the prompted fields, you need to tap on the Next button and then on the Save

Manual Configuration of Cox Email Account on iPhone

If you are unable to set up your Cox email account using the above-mentioned instructions, you can follow these steps. The steps provided below are for the manual configuration of the Cox email account on the iPhone.

1. On your iPhone, tap on the Settings app icon
2. Once you are on the setting section of your iPhone, tap on the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars
3. In the Mail Contacts, and Calendar section, you will need to tab on the “Add Account” option located below the iCloud
4. Then, tap on the “Other” option.

NOTE: You will need to select the Other option only if the cox.net email provider is not mentioned on the screen.

5. Next, you will need to choose the Add Mail Account option and enter the details as mentioned below:

• Name: Enter your desired name
• Email: Enter your Username
• Password: Enter your cox.net account password
• Description: Enter your desired description.

6. After entering the required information, you will need to tap on the Next
7. Then, under Incoming mail server, you will need to select the IMAP option and enter the following details:

• Hostname:cox.net
• Username: Your username
• Password: Your cox.net account password

8. In the Outgoing mail server, enter the following details:

• Hostname:cox.net
• Username: Enter your Username
• Password: Enter your cox.net account password

9. After that, tap on the Save
10. Once you have saved the settings, go to Settings > Your Cox Account > Advanced section and enter the following details in the Incoming Settings and Outgoing Settings:

For Incoming Settings

• Use SSL: Yes
• Authentication: Password
• Server Port: 993

For Outgoing Settings

• Use SSL: Yes
• Authentication: Password
• Server Port: 587

After the successful configuration, you will be able to send and receive emails using your Cox email account on your iPhone device.
