Although, you can access your OptlOnline email account easily using the web portal on your computer or mobile device, however, if you also wish to access your Optimum email account on an email application like Android, you will need to have the information on OptOnline email settings. To know the OptOnline email settings and process to configure your account on Android, you will need to follow the information provided below.

Optonline Email Settings (IMAP)

When trying to configure your OptOnline email account through an email application manually, you will be prompted to provide the IMAP and SMTP settings of your Optimum email service. As these settings are responsible for sending and receiving emails using your email application, it is important to enter them correctly in the relevant fields. Incoming Server – IMAP

  • Server: mail.optonline.net
  • Port: 993
  • Security: SSL/TLS
  • Username: Your full email address
  • Password: Your password

Outgoing Server – SMTP

  • Server: mail.optonline.net

  • Username: Your full email address

Guide to Configure OptOnline Email Account on Android

  1. To begin with, you will first need to go to the home screen of your Android device and open an Email or Gmail application.

  • In case you have other email accounts already configure in this application, you will need to go to the Menu section by tapping on the 3 line icon and selecting the Settings option.Once you have selected the Settings option, you will need to tap on the Add Account.
  • On the next screen, you will need to tap on the Other option, enter your optonline.net email address, and then select the Manual Setup button.
  • Next, you will need to select theIMAP account option and enter the following informationunder theincoming server settings section on your screen.
  • Username: Your username
  • Password: Your account password
  • IMAP server: mail.optonline.net
  • Security type: SSL (Make sure that the SSL encryption feature is activated for the incoming mail server)
  • Port: 993
  • Once you have entered the information in the relevant fields on your screen, you will need to tap on the Next button and enter the following information in the Outgoing server settings screen.
  • SMTP server: mail.optonline.net
  • Port: 465
  • Security type: SSL (Make sure that SSL encryption is activated for the outgoing mail server)
  • After entering the required information in the relevant fields on your screen, you will need to press the Next button and select the Email check frequency (ideally recommended every 15 minutes).
  • After that, you will need to provide your account name and tap on the Done button.
  • As you will press the Done button, your OptOnline email account will be configured on your Android device and you will be able to send and receive emails from your optonline.net email account on your Android device.
